Attendees will become familiar with the California State Library databases that are available at no cost to every K-12 school and student in the state, explore database contents, and learn how to register their district. Commonly referred to as "library databases," these resources provide educators, school librarians and library staff, students, and parents or guardians access to a large body of digital resources: eBooks, scientific and scholarly research, newspaper articles, photos, streaming videos and more – all chosen to support the California Common Core curriculum.

The resources are vetted, scholarly databases paid for by the California State Library for K - 12 public school use.
